Museum Tours

We are lucky to live in an area so culturally rich and deserving of spending a day every once in a while soaking it in. Of course when you think Museums around here you think of The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, which is so expansive you won't even take in all there is to see in a full day. But that National Historic Landmark isn't all Motown has to offer, speaking of Motown, Hitsville U.S.A. is definitely worth a visit for an hour long guided tour. While your downtown you should tell your driver to head on over to the Institute of Arts. With over 100 galleries spanning over 650,000 square feet, they feature works spanning the eras and world, from Ancient Egyptian works, to Picasso and van Gogh to the original Howdy Doody. The DIA has works to suit every taste and by the time you leave you will discover tastes you never even knew you had.
